PT. Suri Nusantara Jaya (SNJ) is an importer and distributor of quality fresh, frozen and processed meat products in Indonesia. Products from SNJ include goat, chicken, beef and buffalo. SNJ has developed and expanded the distribution of fresh and frozen meat products to wholesalers, meat processing companies, traditional markets, catering and restaurants in Indonesia. PT. SNJ collaborates with state-owned companies to support national food security.
Problem: Company Wants Full Control of Vehicles and Cargo
PT Suri Nusantara Jaya (SNJ) wants to always obtain complete status regarding the fleet it owns. In addition, because the product from SNJ is a product that is susceptible to temperature, namely meat, the right temperature is required throughout the delivery process according to applicable standards to avoid damage to the product.
Companies also have difficulty monitoring the costs of each trip, one of which is related to fuel. SNJ wants to be able to accurately monitor the fuel consumption of each vehicle. Apart from that, there are concerns about fraud in the field where drivers load different loads than those assigned because there is a risk of affecting product quality during the journey.
Solution: Complete Fleet Management System with Fuel and Temperature Detection
In solving the problems experienced by PT Sari Nusantara Jaya (SNJ), we implemented a fleet management system that can provide information in the form of location, speed and fleet status in real-time. Apart from that, the vehicle is also equipped with a system that is able to read fuel conditions accurately and is integrated into the dashboard. Not only that, this system also allows SNJ to know the movement of the door frame so that it can obtain data every time the door is opened or closed and avoid fraud in the field.
Companies no longer have to worry about drivers putting other items in the cooler or opening the door with high frequency. Companies also don't need to worry about fuel costs because they already have all the detailed data.
Regarding setting the temperature of the chiller box to meet standards, we use a temperature and humidity detection system installed on the vehicle to assist the company in controlling the temperature so that it is always in a standard state upon delivery. If there is a significant change in temperature, the operator will receive a notification so that action can be taken immediately. This can minimize damage to product quality.
PT Suri Nusantara Jaya can send products that are susceptible to temperature without having to worry about decreasing product quality during transit. Of course this can increase business profitability and increase customer satisfaction.
